🎬 Video Recording Guidelines

To ensure fairness and high-quality submissions, please follow these recording requirements:

1. Performance Setup

✅ Use a fixed, stable camera angle – No handheld recordings. A tripod or stand is recommended.
✅ Record in landscape mode (horizontal orientation).
✅ The performer’s face, hands, and instrument must be clearly visible at all times.
✅ Ensure good lighting and a quiet environment with minimal background noise.

2. Recording Requirements

🎵 Live Performance Only – No video edits, splicing, or post-production enhancements.
🎵 Single Take per Piece – Each piece must be recorded in one continuous take.
🎵 Introduce Yourself (optional) – At the beginning, you may state your name, age, and the piece you are performing.
🎵 Resolution: Minimum 720p HD (1080p recommended).

3. Naming Your File

Name your video file as follows:
📂 Jane Doe, Little Snowflake 

📤 How to Submit Your Video

1️⃣ Upload your video to YouTube
2️⃣ Set the video to “Unlisted” (not Private).
3️⃣ Submit your video link to info@markrothkocompetition.com
4️⃣ Double-check that the link is accessible—if we cannot view it, your submission may not be valid.

❌ Disqualification Criteria

🚫 Edited or spliced performances
🚫 Poor-quality videos where the performer is not clearly visible
🚫 Videos with excessive background noise or distractions
🚫 Late submissions
